G0HDX silent key

It is with deepest regret that I pass on the news that long time WAB square collector, SOTA Activator and Chaser Roy Hartley G0HDX today suffered suspected heart attack and passed away. Roy was on his way by train, from Lancashire, with fellow Summits on the Air Activator Phil Drew G1OPV to the Lake District to activate LD-056 Whitbarrow when it happened. Our thoughts are with his family and with Phil in what must have been a most traumatic experience. Roy will be sadly missed as a nice guy and a gentleman on the air.
